Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-103-UN3U Universal Cell Phone RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum System with an open 1 inch socket end and cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at the cradle and base open socket end. Once a base is connected, a simple twist of the arm knob, allows you to move the Universal Cell Phone Cradle to your optimum viewing position.
Note:This mount does not include a mount base.

Universal Cell Phone Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-UN3 Large RAM Plastic Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices, including the Blackberry range of Phones
Using the Cradle:
This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom of the back of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small support legs that move along the base edge of the cradle. The legs support the bottom of the item securely in the cradle, while allowing cable connection to the unit. This RAM universal side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin, low vibration environment. This system is not recommended as a motorcycle mount.

NOTE: The top of the cradle is open, so the items in the cradle can be larger than the height of the cradle.
Universal Cell PhoneMount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Universal Cell Phone Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Universal Cell Phone Mount Base Design:The bottom base end of the RAM mounting system has an open 1 inch diameter socket. This end allows you to connect any RAM component base with a RAM 1 inch (B Size) Solid Rubber Ball. This mount is not complete without the extra part for the open socket end.
