RAM Mount Universal Clamp Mount with Belt Button Clip Description The RAP-B-121-304 Universal Temporary Clamp RAM Mount is a High Strength Plastic Mount with Non-Permanent Clamping Base and RAM Universal Button Clip Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Belt Button mount to your optimum viewing position.
Mount Cradle Design:
The RAP-304 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Holder is designed to connect to a standard plastic button knob found on the back of many Golf Course GPS, Cell Phones, GPS Units, Music Players and more.
Mount Cradle Plate:
The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Mount Arm Design:
The RAP-B-201 RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of High Strength Plastic. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Mount Base Design:
The RAP-B-121B RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Universal Clamp Mount Base fits a rail or edge lip from 5/8'' to a maximum of 1 1/4''. The mounting base can also accept a second ball giving you the ultimate double ball base.
To mount the base, simply place the clamp ends around the rail and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes, golf buggies or unusual shaped motorbike rails.
Note: The rail does not need to be perfectly round to mount this base.
