Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-120U Universal Cradle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Flat Surface Screw Down Base and RAM Side Clamping Aluminum Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1.0 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. The 1.0 inch diameter B size ball and socket system give the mount an approximate holding weight of up to 5 lbs. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Universal Cradle Mount to your optimum viewing position.

Universal Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-B-120BU RAM Mount Large Marine Grade Aluminum Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of electronic devices. The cradle is constructed with a 1.0 inch diameter B size ball built into the cradle backing for connecting to the mounts arm socket.
Using the Universal Cradle:
This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp grip, simply press the button found at the bottom left side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle is a small support edge to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle. This RAM universal side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin, low vibration environment. This system is not recommended as a motorcycle mount.
Universal Cradle Dimensions:
- Minimum Clamp Width: 1.5 inches (with foam), 2.43 without (without foam)
- Maximum Clamp Width: 3.5 inches (with foam), 4.5 inches (without foam)
- Side Clamp Height: 2.62 inches
- Side Clamp Depth: 1.38 inches
- Cradle Spine Height: 6.5 inches

Universal Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Universal Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. Mount Base Mounting Solutions:Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.
