The RAP-274-1-PD2 Universal Edge Grip Plastic EZ ON/OFF Bike Handlebar RAM Mount is a low profile mounting system with custom RAM plastic cradle. The EZ ON/OFF handlebar mount is a direct connection for the Universal Edge Grip cradle to a bike handlebar. The mount allows you to rotate the cradle up to 360 degrees.
Universal Mount Options:
To help ensure you have the Electronics and PDA Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM electronics and PDA mounts on the Universal Electronics and PDA Mount Page. Here you can select from suction cup electronics mounts, flat surface screw down electronics mounts, electronics car mounts, non skid weighted electronics mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-PD2 Universal Electronics / PDA Side Clamp Cradle.
Universal Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-PD2 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of electronic devices, like PDAs and Portable Entertainment Systems (Sony PSP).
Cradle Clamping Dimensions:
- Cradle Height Range: Open
- Cradle Holding Width: 2 7/8 - 3.5 inches
- Cradle Holding Thickness: 3/8 - 1 1/8 inches
Included with the Cradle:
The cradle includes three (3) sets of side clamping arms. Each set of arms includes three (3) individual arms which connect to the slots on the side of the cradle. The arms have a rubber tip for an optimum hold, and you can remove and change the arms so you can find the right clamping hold for you device. The arms come in three (3) different lengths:
- Short Arm Length: 1/2 inch
- Medium Arm Length: 7/8 inch
- Long Arm Length: 1 3/16 inches
Universal Mount Base:The RAP-274-1 RAM EZ ON/OFF High Strength Plastic Composite Handlebar Rail Mount consists of the RAM EZ ON/OFF connection system joining a dual strap base to a RAM diamond cradle plate. The mount base will fit all handlebar sizes using the zip-pull straps. With a press on the mount you activate the RAM EZ ON/OFF system allowing you to attach/remove the cradle from the base. When connected, the diamond cradle plate can rotate to your optimum viewing position.
Important Note for Motorcycle Users:This base is not recommended for motorcycles due to the heavy vibration.
