| RAM Mount Universal Hook Clamp PDA Mount with Zinc U-Bolt Base Description |
The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Universal Top Hook Clamping Plastic Cradle for PDA Units.
BASE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.
ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.
CRADLE DESIGN:
 The RAM-HOL-PD3 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Hook Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of electronic devices, especially PDAs.
