RAM Mount Universal Large Cradle on Flex Suction Mount Description The RAP-105-6224-UN3 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Mount consists of a 6 inch long Aluminum Flexible Arm with a RAM Universal Large Side Clamping Plastic Cradle.
Mount Base Design:
Mount Arm Design: The Flexible Arm is 6 inches long with a Diamond Plate at one end and a 3.25 inch diameter Twist Locking Suction Cup at the other. The plastic parts are sonic welded to the ends of the aluminum rod.
Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-UN3 Large RAM Plastic Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices, including the Blackberry range of Phones
Using the Cradle: This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom of the back of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small support legs that move along the base edge of the cradle. The legs support the bottom of the item securely in the cradle, while allowing cable connection to the unit. This RAM universal side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin, low vibration environment. This system is not recommended as a motorcycle mount.
