| RAM Mount Universal Magnetic Power Plate III Holder Description |
The RAP-300-1 RAM Magnetic Lite Power Plate II Holder is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of devices, including radar detectors, not effected by magnets. The magnetic cradle includes a powerful double magnet rubber cradle deck and one adhesive metal plate. To mount your device to the magnet, you will need to attach the metal plate to the back of your device.
Very Important Note: The magnetic mount should NOT be used to hold any device that has an internal hard drive. The magnet may damage the drive. This includes the Apple iPod and other small battery operated devices.
Universal Mount Options: To help ensure you have the Universal Magnetic Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM universal magnetic cradle mounts on the RAP-300-1 Magnetic Cradle Series of universal cradles and mounts page. Here you can select from suction cup universal mounts, flat surface screw down universal mounts, universal car mounts, non skid weighted universal mounts and more bundled with the RAP-300-1 Universal Magnetic Series Cradle. Alternatively, you can review the complete list of RAM universal side clamping cradles and mounts.
Included with the Magnetic Cradle Deck:
The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.
Important Mounting Information:
If you already own this cradle, or any other cradle with a hole pattern that will match the RAM Diamond Plate hole spacing, then you require one of the RAM Assemblies listed below. If you are looking to purchase a complete mount for the above cradle, take a look at the Complete Mount list below.
This cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1 inch ball to this cradle you need to purchase either the Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch ball (RAM-B-238) or Plastic Diamond Plate with 1'' ball (RAP-B-238). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5'' ball system, you will require the Aluminum Diamond Plate (RAM-238).
