RAM Mount Universal Screw Down Mount RAM-B-138-UN1U Description The RAM-B-138-UN1 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Universal Small Side Clamping Plastic Cradle.
Mount Base Design:
The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. Mount Base Mounting Solutions:
Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.
Mount Arm Design: The RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm (RAM-B-201) is a B Size 1 inch Ball Dual Socket Arm, made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 3 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-UN1 Small RAM Plastic Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices.
Using the Cradle: This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom left side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small supports to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle. This RAM universal side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin, low vibration environment. This system is not recommended as a motorcycle mount.
