Manufacturer Description |
The RAP-299-2-UN1 Universal Small Cradle Vehicle Cup Holder Mount is a High Strength Plastic Composite Mount with a RAM Designed Vehicle Cup Holder and RAM Universal Cradle. The mount is designed with a 6 inch long Aluminum Flex Rod connecting the cradle and cup holder base. Once the base is securely mounted, you can move the Universal cradle to your optimum viewing position with a simple bend of the arm.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.
Universal Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-UN1 Small RAM Plastic Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices.
Using the Cradle:
This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom left side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small supports to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle. This RAM universal side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin, low vibration environment. This system is not recommended as a motorcycle mount.

NOTE: The top of the cradle is open, so the items in the cradle can be larger than the height of the cradle.
Universal Mount Base Design:The RAP-299-2 RAM Mount Vehicle Cup Holder Base is designed to hold your electronic device in an accessible location when you don't want to attach anything to your windshield or dash - as long as you have a cup holder. Simply slide the base into a spare cup holder in your vehicle, and you are ready to go. The mount includes a solid plastic composite tube base with customizable support fins connected to a 6 inch flex arm with a plastic plate end for attaching the mount cradle.
