The RAM-B-148-PD1U Universal PDA Cradle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Large 4 inch diameter Suction Cup Base and RAM Top Clamping Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1.0 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. The 1.0 inch diameter B size ball and socket system give the mount an approximate holding weight of up to 5 lbs. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Universal PDA Cradle Mount to your optimum viewing position.
Universal PDA Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-PD1 RAM Mount high strength plastic top clamping cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of electronic devices, especially PDAs. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-HOL-PD1 cradle, take a closer look with the RAM-HOL-PD1 Design Drawings (pdf file).

Universal PDA Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Universal PDA Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Universal PDA Mount Base Design:
 The large 4 inch Rubber Suction Cup base has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles. The suction cup is designed to hold on any smooth non-porous surface, but for best result, mount the suction cup on a glass surface ¹ . ¹ Important legal note to California and Minnesota Drivers
Note: Overtime the suction cup may become dirty, and not hold as well. If this happens, you will need to wash it in warm soapy water, and the mounting surface may need to be wiped with a cleaner (alcohol works best). Be sure to test a small area of the mounting surface before applying a cleaner as they can mark or discolor some materials (like plastic).
