Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-HOL-UN7 X-Grip Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices, including the Apple iPhone with or without cases, Android Phones and Blackberry Smart Phones.
Important Cradle Use: The RAM side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin environment. The side clamping cradle is only a light weight cradle and may not hold your device in a high vibration situations as found on a motorcycle. If you intend on using the mount on a motorcycle, it is recommended that you secure the mounted device with a lanyard.
Universal Cradle Dimensions:
- Minimum Grip Width: 0.875 inches (22.2 mm)
(Devices at 0.875" must be a minimum of 4" in height to fit into holder)
- Maximum Grip Width: 3.25 inches (82.5 mm)
- Depth: 0.875 inches (22.2 mm)
The top of the cradle is open, so the items in the cradle can be larger than the height of the cradle.
NOTE: This cradle has a RAM Snap Link socket on the back, and will not connect with the RAM 1" B Ball system as-is. If you are wanting to use the X-Grip cradle with a 1" B Ball system, you will require the RAM-HOL-UN7BU.
If you have already purchased the RAM-HOL-UN7U with Snap-Socket and only need to ADD a 1" ball, you will require the RAM-HOL-UN7K.
If you are wanting to add a 1.5" ball for use in a C size ball socket, you will require the RAM-HOL-UN7BALL-CU.
