The RAM-B-166-AQ6 Waterproof Wide Aqua Box 6 Windshield Suction RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Locking Suction Cup Base and Universal Plastic RAM Aqua Box for GPS. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Waterproof Wide Aqua Box 6 mount to your optimum viewing position.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

Aqua Box Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-AQ6 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Waterproof Aqua Box 6 Wide Medium Cradle is designed to hold a large number of different kinds of electronic devices including the thin touch screen style GPS units. The Aqua Box 6 cradle is a waterproof box with a clear Flex-Lens allowing you to press and operate the buttons of your device, when in the Aqua Box.
The Aqua Box 6 Waterproof Cradle is perfect for holding many small sized electronic devices like:
- Garmin Nuvi series
- TomTom ONE series
- Other similar GPS units
Using the Cradle:
The face of the Aqua Box 6 is a door, allowing you to place your electronic device in the cradle. If required, you can lock the box, with a small padlock, once closed. Inside the RAM Aqua Box are padded sheets enabling you to place your electronic device in the box firmly and securely. You can punch out the back of the Aqua Box to allow cables you be connected to you device, while maintaining a waterproof environment.

Aqua Box Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Round Plate is designed to connected to the back of cradles with an AMPS hole pattern. The round plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Aqua Box Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Aqua Box Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-224-1 RAM Mount Plastic Locking 3.25 inch diameter Rubber Suction Cup Base, with Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate, is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface. With a twist on the locking knob, the suction cup base adheres to any glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface, as found on our Non Skid Base with Plastic Disk and Plastic Adhesive Disk.
Connected to the top of the Suction Cup is a RAM-B-238 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch diameter Rubber Ball. This plate allows the suction cup to join to an open socket found on the RAM 1 inch diameter socket arms.

Suction Cup Base Mounting Options:We currently offer three alternative solutions for mounting your suction cup mount in a location other than a windshield:
 The Super Grip Non Skid Base with round plastic plate, is a weighted base that can be placed on your dash without an adhesive or drilling. Simply place the base on your dash, or any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the round plastic plate. This is perfect when you want a temporary mounting solution but the windshield mount just isn't the answer.
 The Suction Cup Adhesive Disk with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply stick the the plate to any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the plate. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount to your car dash vertically or horizontally, rather than to your windshield.
 The Suction Cup Drink Cup Holder with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply place the base into any cup holder in your vehicle and then attach the suction cup to the plate found on top. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount away from the windshield or when you just want the mount off the dash. |
