EXCELLENT WATERPROOF MOUNT
Pros: waterproof Cons: sun glare
Case is waterproof as stated, on a sun day can get hard to see because of glare from sun. have to open it up so I can use the touch screen on my GPS. Extra power cable is now on order for my car. Don't want to continuously having to change from motorcycle to car and removing power cord from holder. It suits the purpose and other than that I'm happy with it.

WATER TIGHT, NOT FOR FULL SUNLIGHT.
Pros: well built, water tight, touch screen works fine. Cons: hard to see in full sun, can't hear voice commands
product seems to be water tight like it Say's, but with My Magellan 1470 it is real hard to see in full sun, on overcast day's it seems much better, I don't like messing with the GPS while driving anyway, I can't hear the voice commands either, Mounting and assembly was very easy, I guess I'm an old school tour bus driver and I tend to do some research ahead of time so I know where I am going without being distracted by a GPS or maps or other things,

RAM MOUNT WATERPROOF AQUA BOX 6 MOTORCYCLE BRAKE M
Pros: easy to install Cons: brake mount screws too short or spacers too long.
I couldn't see paying $700 or $900 bucks " for a water proof GPS" for my Harley 2009 Tri Glide. I had done that once for another motorcycle.
The GPS City video's on the AquaBox contents, and how to put on the soft vinyl screen, and how to mount the unit on my clutch reservoir, were invaluable - after viewing them, it was easy to install the unit on my motorcycle! My NUVI 1450LTM fits perfect with all of the foam in place.
I would like to see a soft rubber grommet installed in the bottom for electrical and antenna connections. if you transfer your GPS around alot, the lighter plug with the antenna built in is problem to get into the box and remove it without buying a second one.
I still gave it a 5 rating because it will do exactly what it was supposed to do.

WORKS FINE
Pros: enables any non waterproof gps to be used Cons: not 100% clear, 3 small blemishes from manufacture
This worked great to mount a Nuvi to a goldwing. I was able to fit the entire 12v cigarette plug cord inside the aquabox so could solder my own wiring to it to a plug outside the box, then run my own wiring down the bars to switched 12v power. Now I can simply unplug the nuvi and remove the entire auquabox with ease.

AQUABOX 6
Pros: easy to mount, comes with lots of interior padding Cons: it's very thick/deep
Got the AuqaBox 6 to keep my Nuvi 1490 dry when mounted on my motorcycle. It mounted easily, and the screen position is highly adjustable, so I can set the angle to reduce glare. GPS City included lots of interior padding, and I needed every bit of it - the AquaBox interior is very deep, and my Nuvi is quite slim, so there was a lot of space to take up in order for the Nuvi to fit snugly against the AquaBox screen.
The GPS City video's on the AquaBox contents, and how to put on the soft vinyl screen, and how to mount the unit on my clutch reservoir, were invaluable - after viewing them, it was easy to install the unit on my motorcycle!
I have not yet had the unit out in a downpour - the weather is not cooperating. I will try to remember to update this review after I have that experience. But, looking at how the AquaBox is constructed, I have every confidence that it will be completely waterproof.

HARLEY MOTORCYCLE MOUNT FOR TOMTOM XXL540 GPS
Pros: only mount option right now for the xxl. Cons: bulky looking. ram won't make a mount for the xxl.
Perfect all-around fit for the TomTom XXL 5 inch GPS. I can see where there would be extra room inside the box on each side when used with smaller GPS devices, but not with the larger 5 inch wide TomTom. It's January right now here in Michigan so I won't be riding my Harley Ultra Classic until sometime in April. It looks like it will work out just fine. I hope.:-)

INEXPENSIVE WATER PROOF MOUNT
Pros: allows easy use of the gps touch screen Cons: clear screen has moulding dimples in screen area
The GPS installed on my Harley is junk and I couldn't see paying $600 or $800 bucks for GPS with a built in O-ring, just didn't make sense. So I bought a Garmin Nuvi and needed a way to make it water proof. I looked around a lot and found this one. I got it just before a 5000 mile trip and got it installed in about 20 minutes. I didn't like the wire routing to much but it did keep the water out. It worked perfectly unless the sun hit the screen. When that happened it was a white out. It also has three spots running down the middle of the clear membrane that you sort of had to get used to. It looked like there was something on the screen in the very center where the icon for your vehicle is displayed. Even though though it had a few hard to see spots on the screen I still gave it a 5 rating because it did exactly what it was supposed to do. The locking tab was perfect for the suitcase lock I used. I loaned the assembly out to a friend of mine for our annual trip since I had to work and couldn't go. He loved it but had the same complaint with those little spots on the screen. It's a bit bigger than a normal GPS but that's a benifit as well. You'll like this mount, I did.

WATERPROOF GPS MOUNT
Pros: water tight, secure. Cons: can't hear directions thru it or see thru glare
I don't like the fact the power cable is captured under the mounting on the back. To change to or away from this waterproof mount in varying weather you either need a second power cable (expensive in my case of over $100) or take time to remove screws, etc. The case appears to definitely be secure and water tight as advertised. However, it is somewhat sound proof, also. So I can't hear my voice directions through it. The clear plastic cover works fine for the touch screen, but in even modest daylight the glare makes the GPS nearly invisible. At night it looks great. Perhaps on a dark, very cloudy/stormy day it would be fine, also. I haven't used it in that condition yet.

RAM MOUNT WATERPROOF AQUA BOX 6 MOTORCYCLE BRAKE M
Pros: easy to install Cons: mounting bolts must be longer
Very easy to install watched the online videos first before attempting to install the box seal - very good! Mounting bolts needed to be longer to install on Harley Street Glide if spacers are used if not, like I did, there is sufficient threading to secure the mount.

RAM WATERPROOF AQUA BOX
Pros: does everything it is suppose to do... Cons: none so far
I have been using it for a month now and here in the Northeast it is riding in the rain most of the time... I have never had a leak... I did make a different hole for the GPS wire to enter box and used silicon to plug hole... I mounted mine on the clutch side as I like my cup-holder on the clutch side...

GREAT WATERPROOF MOUNT
Pros: no leaks even in pouring down rain Cons: large box blocks part of the mirror
I installed this device right out of the box on my 97 Honda GL1500SE. It was so easy took less than 15 minutes to replace the bolts and adjust the grip. The Aqua 6 box was specified for my Garmin 200 but my Garmin looks like a dwarf inside. It slides around while riding and could use a custom cut out piece of foam to hold it in place, my next Saturday project. When the sun is out the plastic cover doesn't allow for viewing the screen. I hope to fix that with sitting the Garmin back into the box with my custom cut foam holder. It worked great on that cloudy and rainy day drive we took on Saturday July 4th weekend.

WATERPROOF MOUNT
Pros: seems very solid, well built. Cons: incredibly bulky
I haven't installed this on my bike yet because I've just changed bikes and need a new mounting system (brake/clutch mount vs. handlebar).
I was very surprised when I took this behemoth out of the box. My Nuvi 750 is sleek and good looking and I was expecting this mount to be somewhat similar in size. It's MASSIVE :( No one to blame but myself for not checking the dimensions and it really wouldn't have mattered because there is nothing else out there to compare. If it were at least close in size to the Nuvi I would love it but now I'll buy another mount to use in dry weather and hide this one until it's needed.
I needed a hammer to remove the breakout tab and a dremel to clean up the hole. I'll also be cutting the foam so I can still use the car cradle. No need for extra wiring that way.

GREAT GPS MOUNT!
Pros: waterproof and secure. Cons: needs more options/includes for it!
It would be PERFECT if it came with longer bolts to replace the OEM brake mount bolts and another foam insert (with removable cut-outs) that would go around smaller GPS devices so it doesn't slide around/fall to the bottom of the box. Another nice option would be a shorter (1/2 length) adjustable clamp. I use this Aqua 6 box/mount on my Honda ST1300 with the Garmin Nuvi 255w and it works great.
