GOOD OPTION TO PROTECT YOUR ELECTRONICS

Cons: difficult to open pop out for cable

I got this box to put a Garmin 2460LMT GPS unit in. The GPS is a larger model with a 5" screen. It fit perfect. The Aqua box came with foam inserts that can be added to make the fit correct. The 'pop out' for the cables requires some muscle and sharp tools to open. I also used a small round file to open the cut outs for the cable to route under the round mount. This was not described very well witht he included instructions. I have not had a chance to ride in any rain yet, but it seems well built and should not leak. Use the videos that GPSCity has made to help with installing the clear membrane on the box.

USE ON A MOTORCYLE

Pros: easy to assemble
Cons: glare during mid-day

Seems to be great for various weather conditons. the glare that is on the clear screen during mid-day makes it difficult to see when riding on my motorcycle. works great from dusk to dawn though and in low light/shade conditions. considering just getting a waterproof gps instead.

GOOD WATERPROOF MOUNTING SOLUTION FOR A GPS

Pros: everything!

Excellent solution. You can have a top NUVI on your bike for less than half of a comparable Zumo by putting it in this box. It is well made, strong, waterproof and with its RAM mounting system, it is easy to mount or remove, and can be adjusted to almost any angle or height you may like, I love it, like all RAM products. Quality is 110%! However, it IS a compromise. To be waterproof, you get something that is bulky, and the flexible front cover causes you to lose some of the ese of touch on your touchscreen GPS. Also, of course, your view of the screen IS cloudier. My solution is this box for bad weather and offroad use, and a RAM-HOL-GA39U for good weather, on-road use. I would rather have my Nuvi 3790 with MORE features than a Zumo 660, for a third of the price, and make these small compromises. Great box!

Great mounting system for my Harley Davidson Touring model. Easy and fast to install. All the needed hardware was included. Not at all disappointed!

GREAT WATERPROOF MOUNT

Cons: would like to see a better way to run power cord.

This aqua box and mount work very well on my snowmobile and 4wheeler. Would recommend to anyone that wants a waterproof mount for a GPS.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

Pros: delivered exactly as described and fits the gps.
Cons: bulky, poorly made, insecure mount

I ordered this unit to carry a Tom Tom GPS on my BMW motorcycle. The "clear" flexible cover was milky opaque in three places making it difficult to see the GPS screen. It is almost impossible to see the screen in sunlight. Why put a locking mechanism on the box when you can remove the entire unit by turning ONE thumbscrew!?! It's waterproof but you need to punch or drill a large hole in the back to put in the wire to the GPS which will almost certainly leak. WTF?
