BASE FOR CAMERA MOUNT ON '78 YAMAHA SPECIAL
Cons: fits
Just what I was looking for. Mounts perfect on handlebar and am now looking forward to decent weather which will allow me to record parts of my rides.

CAN AM OUTLANDER GPS MOUNT

I recently bought the above to mount my Garmin Oregon 400T GPS to my new Can Am atv. Solid mount. Sturdy construction. Good looking.

GREAT MOUNT FOR KLR650 AND POLARIS 600 HANDLEBARS
Pros: easy to install, built solid, interchangable
Cons: none so far
I bought a RAM-B-149Z-GA41U,cycle mount for my Garmin GPSMAP 62sc and this additional mount base for my ATV. In ten seconds, I can remove the mount with the GPS in it and switch it between my KLR650 and Polaris 600 Sportsman. Great system. Very stable and extremely endless mounting positions and angles.

PRODUCT DIDNT WORK

Cons: you gotta find you own parts.
I ordered this mounting bracket for my Suzuki DR. RAM customer service told me that two U bolts were incluced in the package to accomidate different size bars. I only recieved one U bolt in my order from GPSCity. I called customer service at GPSCity and they told me only one U bolt was to be in the package even after I had told them what RAM had told me. They wanted me to purchase more hardware and another clamp system. Very disappointing. I had to go elsewhere to find the smaller U bolt.

BETTER THEN EXPECTED.
Pros: two diffrent size u bolts to choose from
installed on my riser on my snowmobile. it came with two diffrent size u bolts to choose from witch was nice.

GREAT PIECE OF KIT
Pros: solid mount with minimal vibrations
Cons: rusting
I had purchased the Ram Mount and got tired of moving the complete unit evertime I changed vehicles so I bought one of these for each vehicle. Works great!. The U-Bolt can rust so I used shrink wrap to cover the bolt and it also reduces marring on the handle bar finish.

WORKED GREAT ON RENTAL BIKE

I purchased this mount to install on rental bike to use my Zumo 550 while on vacation and it was quick and easy to add and remove from the rental bike.

BROKE AGAIN
Pros: looks good
Cons: isn't good
Second time I have one of these break on my ATV. They are pretty flimsy, the ball just cuts off from vibration. GPS is tie-wrapped to the bike now :(

NEED A SMALLER U BOLT
Pros: strong, low-profile, relatively quick to install
Cons: u-bolt too long
A u-bolt that is about 1/2" shorter on each leg needs to be included in this mount. The tubes on the glareshield of my airplane where I use the mount are 3/4" diameter, not 1" diameter and the threaded legs of the u-bolt stick out so much that they interfere with the ball and arm junction. The excess threaded stock has to be cut off to make it work.

HANDLE BAR BALL MOUNT
Fit well on my Harley FLHX. I slid heat shrink tube over the u-bolt to prevent marring the chrome which worked well and looked good to.
