NUVI 3597 LMTHD

Have used this unit for about 1 month now and it is fantastic. Although I have been using it in a smaller city it has proven itself to be about 96% in taking me right to location. I am a Shuttle driver for a major Automobile company so I use the Garmin every day. Even up in Northern Alberta it functions really well, of course we don't get the Traffic updates but it shows speed limits on the major highways etc. It even lets you know what side of the street the location is, also it is very fast in acquiring satellites and changing routs without all the jabbering.

Pros: fast setup,easy viewing,not at lot of talking
Cons: very expencive

FINALLY!!

I have been looking for a decent Golf GPS holder for my Quad Pushcart for quite a while with no success. Everything I tried 'broke' almost immediately!! This product WORKS, and shows no sign of breaking any time soon. I wish I had started with GPS City. Well done !!!

X20 - A GREAT MINI!

What a neat little unit for geocaching, kayaking, etc.! Good combination of simplicity of operation and a full suite of capabilities, along with excellent battery life.

I thought I wouldn't like the joystick operation, but it grows on you. I found it somewhat easier to operate than the early touchscreen models (e.g., Oregon 550T) and on a par with the four-arrow approach used by the 62 series. The joystick occasionally misfires, but that may be my lack of thumb dexterity.

The seamless integration with Garmin Basecamp is a huge plus. I've been able to load several excellent maps and find the readability to be good in spite of the small screen size.

The presence of the Profiles function found on higher price models is icing on the cake.

All in all, a great value! My go-to unit when I want something as small as possible while retaining a full feature set.

Pros: battery life ability to add maps sharp screen
Cons: joystick occasionally cantankerous

GREAT SO FAR

USed it for several geocaches over the period of 4 hours or so. Great reception and battery life so far. MUCH more accurate than my old Garmin V, which died. Very fast delivery. Packaged well.

used it on a trip to Las Vegas, worked good, encountered a few issues with routing and finding cities by name, think that its more to do with how the gps was set up though

Pros: decent warnings times for upcoming turns
Cons: gps takes longer to start up with this map.

NEW GPS

I waited and waited for this to be released. I checked GPS City very day for a date mine would be shipped. I almost selected another but I'm glad I waited. It seems much faster than my other one which was less than a year old and got stolen. This is a huge jump up although I miss the audio player on the other one. This is well worth the price, I think. And the traffic is great, too--almost forgot!

Pros: magnetic mount, thin, bright colors, real directio

HAPPY WITH UK MAPS

The Garmin UK Maps chip took a lot of stress out of our vacation. It had even the smallest, most back roads loaded, so even when we thought we were lost we were able to find our way without too much hassel. If we missed an exit it was quick to recalculate and get us back on track. It was extremely handy when we went into Northern Ireland where the speed limits are in miles, not kilometers. Our rental car only had kilometers and the GSP was able to provide a converted speed into kilometers so i would know how fast to go. It is also nice that it is programed for more than one country. I look forward to using it on my next trip. Also saved us a ton of money having to rent a GPS unit through the car rental company

Pros: knew even the smallest roads, not just main ones
Cons: wish it could have had an irish accent to talk in
