| SeaSucker White 4.5 inch Vacuum Pump Suction Cup Base Description |
The SeaSucker Vacuum Pump Suction Cup Base is a perfect mounting base when you need just a little more hold. Pressing the side pump on the suction cup base creates a vacuum for the suction cup base that is second to none. The top of the suction cup base included an integrated 1/4-20 female thread that will match directly to the RAM 1/4-20 Male Thread with 1.0 inch Ball or RAM 1/4-20 Male Thread with 1.5 inch Ball. The suction cup is designed to hold on any smooth non-porous surface, but for best result, mount the suction cup on a glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface.
SeaSucker Hold Strength:
The SeaSucker vacuum mount is rated by the manufacturer to hold 120 pounds. This is a rating that is calculated when pulling the suction cup directly off at 90 degrees from a flat surface. If you are using the suction cup base as part of a cantilever mount setup (mounting the suction cup on a vertical surface) the vacuum suction cup hold is rated at maximum hold at around 30 pounds.
Manufacturers Description:
The 4½ inch SeaSucker vacuum cup is rated to hold 120 pounds. Two slotted holes for backplating accessories or mounting hardware and one center stainless steel insert for mounting anything with a standard ¼-20 machine screw. All metal parts are high grade stainless steel, even the springs inside our pump, for extra durability in the saltwater environment. Includes our standard plastic housing handle.
