David/RAM Mounts: Please share with your management: Thank you for referring me quickly to GPS City, and Jeff. Jeff answered your referral almost immediately and responded within minutes, via email, to additional questions I had. I was a National Service Manager for years at a major power tool manufacturer, and this is the type of service I would always strive to attain. It's sad, but this is very unique in todays business environment. Service is usually a casualty of cost savings programs, and those 'Yale educated' executives rarely have a firm grasp on the influence of service on sales. I realize the importance of feedback and the frequency of good vs bad. Jeff and GPS City should be commended on an outstanding job. You, and they, have my business now and in the future. Not often, a satisfied customer will provide his supplier with any positive 'feed-back'. I find this attitude to be a lack of 'encouragment' for the people who are striving toward 'excellence'. Remember; Order xxxxxx, Invoice xxx, Ship 12/04/02 ? If so, please tell any one involved in the expediting process (from 1st contact to shipment), that THE JOB HAD BEEN DONE, in a very professional manner, which had been APPRECIATED. The parts, I received, as expected, will be installed next Thuesday Dec 10 on a sail boat cruising along side the coast of the french riviera (43 deg 35 mn N - 06 deg 45 mn E)..... A long way from your inventory depot. And because my instruments will be where, and secured, as I want them to be, I will enjoy my time sailing even more. Chances are you will 'see me again' but, for now, my last word to close the file is 'THANK YOU'.

Dear Jeff, i have finally managed to solve my problem, and now have my garmin GPS set up with my mac. All i really needed was a device driver that recognizes the Serial-to-USB converter that came attached to the GPS. i am very satisfied with my purchase, as it works wonderfully, and the price was really a bargain for what i got. i would like to thank you for your excellent service, timely replies, and for giving me, as a consumer, the feeling that you are truly doing all you can to help. i will be glad to to business with you in the future. Hi GPS City: I must start by apologizing for not knowing that GPSMAP 176 does not have the auto routing feature as GPS V . Therefore, over the weekend I debated which was more important to me. The larger screen or the auto routing feature. Auto routing won as it was very helpful during my road trip. So I will keep my GPS V and manage with the smaller screen. I am sorry to have put you through the hoops to come to this decision. You have been very helpful and I will defenently purchase my next GPS through GPS City as you have proven that the customer support is as good as it gets! Thanks for your personal attention to all my questions!

Being fast enough to complain when I feel that the standard of service I receive from someone is substandard, I feel it only fair to pass compliments on when I (on rare occasion - particularly over the internet!) receive exceptional support. I learned about your company approximately 2 weeks ago. In comparison with other outlets I have checked, I found your pricing to be very competitive. I have now placed 2 orders with you. I found your ordering format to be extremely user friendly and efficient. In both cases I received the correct merchandise, at the correct price - each within 2 days of ordering. In addition, as the first order came by a courier company that is known to provide poor service in this area; when I placed the 2nd order I asked if it was possible to be sent via Canada Post instead. Much to my surprise - you complied. Your professional approach to the conduct of your business is very highly appreciated. You make internet shopping a pleasure - my sincere commendations to all staff involved. I checked through all my GPS links and a bunch of your GPS City links to see if anything was pointing to 'those other people'. Everything looks clean. I even called up 'their' page to see if I had been there before, but no. GPS CITY is, and will remain, the link that I store in my browser GPS favourites folder and will continue to be the company I recommend to my friends.
