I just purchased this so I could plug in my phone while away
on a long trip. I ride a zx10r, so there is not a lot of room
for this sort of attachment, but there was lots of wire and
the anchor provided did a great job and was very versatile and
made for easy installation even with limited space.

The main reason I chose this device was its weatherproof
design for yearround use on a motorcycle.
I mounted this with the knowledge that if I ever need to use
more than 1 amps specified in the USB format, I wouldn't
have to worry about any problems.

This is a pretty nifty item, but be careful. The idle current
draw of this device with nothing plugged in is 41-45 mA. This
is a significant drain. The "lite" version is less from what
I've been told, but I have not verified. On my Vulcan 900, I
split off a taillight wire and wired into a circuit that
turned off with the key. I have no long term reports for this
as I've just installed it.
