Recent reviews for this item: Hypnautic, July 21, 2010 We had our new 740s installed on July 3 - due to some
software program defect, the unit does not work with the
Garmin GMRHD 18 radome - once the radar spins up - the
signal is lost. We've contacted Garmin both through email
and over the phone and have been told that they're aware of
the problem and they're working on it. Apparently there
are many units out there with the same problem. If you're
going to buy one...I'd check Garmin's software update
website to see if they've released the update to fix the
problem, otherwise you might be sorely disappointed.
