Recent reviews for this item: Ray, September 6, 2011 Had a 76 for years (yes, the black and white one). It
survived gas filled dinghies, left in the sun on the bow of
the boat for 2 weeks, drunken drops here there and
everywhere. Only thing it didn't survive was the EX-wife's
garage sale.
The 76Cx seems to be just as tough and reliable so far and
once loaded with the correct maps is very accurate. the truth, June 9, 2011 yes, the chart tells you are on planet earth
can you get anywhere with detail such as a harbor
it it doesn't have a harbor with million pop forget it

markers and hazards are inaccurate by 200 feet. Unit
unreliable. Tested with other owners same defect. My unit

waterproof (time limited). Good battery duration.
