work and it gets me to the area very well. (If I need more
accuracy, then the Trimble comes to work.) Works well
under tree cover and at 5,000 feet in the airplane. The

whith even for a beginner. whith 2 batterie AA it's give
power for 15 hour . i use mostly for fishing and i always

right into special pocket onboard. First year didn't notice
problem then the years after line in middle and no
screen,frozen. Gps useless. Works indoors but when outdoor
in warmth problem persists. Bethany, December 2, 2008 I actually find these units very easy to use, but
lately I have had several of them (we use them at
work) get that sam line through the screen that
everyone else seems to get. It freezes up on me
completely.
The above review says to get updates. I wen to the
Garmin website and downloaded the 76S updates to my
computer, but when I tried to upload them I was told
that there are no updates available for this unit!
Did I go to the wrong place? And do I just turn off
the WAAS on the unit? I need help!
