just to find out that the GPSMAP76 is far much advanced and
practical.
The screen of this is unit is smaller than on the GPSMAP76
and the resoloution is poor. Hard to read. The menu and
main windows are poor and overall operation is over
simplified giving you less options than on the GPSMAP76.
In comparison this unit takes longer time to lock to
satillites and give position. This unit will not find it's
location in places where large parts of the skies are
blocked. At the same time the old GPSMAP76 will do that!
Less control when collecting tracks.
Primitive and faulty battery cover.
Dissapointment. You will get a much better GPS unit by
buying the GPS76 and save money at the same time.
