of the watch style is everythiong that I had hoped and the
display and interface are easy to read and intuitive. You
won't believe how easy it is to set up for the course you
are going to play. For anyone questioning accuracy, I can
confirm that it absolutely corresponds to the GPS devices
placed on some golf carts. I selected the S3 for its
additional functionality, so its information on layups,
adjustable pin placements and ability to keep score are
great.
Two points to make: 1) I had concern about battery life so
it is very important to use the "End Round" feature when
finished. This will preserve battery life. 2) I had
expected more information about yardage to dog legs, water,
bunkers, etc. Unfortunately, this is not available as a
part of the preprogrammed courses. You can save these
distances, but don't expect them to just be there.
Strongly recommended! Bud, July 7, 2012 Unit does as advertised, main screen is most usefull. Very
fast and accurate. Sometimes switched holes unexpectantly,
this happened twice. Very handy to have yardage on wrist. A
simple quick check when over ball gives confidence. I like
the idea of not having another gadget to pull out and
carry. Certainly not the detail of larger units but very
