Recent reviews for this item: MEK, December 4, 2012 Used this in our truck on a hunting trip for four days and
hundreds of miles. Our nuvi 3580 GPS stayed in position,
got good reception and kept on working despite bouncing over
quite a few miles of rough backcountry roads. The mount's
miniUSB plugs in to your nuvi-cradle, not directly in to
your nuvi, so the nuvi removes easily and instantly by
compressing the tab on your nuvi cradle. Leave your nuvi
cradle permanently attached to this mount which moves easily
from vehicle to vehicle. The mount is infinitely adjustable
so you can angle your nuvi just where you want it. The
general position will be dependent on the location of
lighter sockets in your vehicle, but, for me, I like to have
my GPS down where it does not block any of my regular
driving view, and our Nissan lighter sockets are well
placed. I highly recommend the mount and just don't
understand why it is not locally available in every
electronics department. Thank goodness for GPSCity! It
