I'm not impressed with the item. I cleaned the dashboard
well, stuck the disk to the dashboard, and attached the
GPS. The next morning the GPS was on the passenger seat,
the disk having let go during the night. There were no
instructions with the disk so I assume I did everything
righ.

This is an easy way to mount your Garmin Nuvi. The disc
itself is not removable once installed but everything else
is, so nothing is left to attract those on the outside.

Don't buy the Garman adhesive plate unless you are mounting
it on glass. The adhesive pad is very thin, so unless your
dashboard is completely smooth, this won't work at all. And
it wasn't cheap, considering it cost about 1/10th of a cent
to make.

Changed vehicles and wanted to use same method of mounting
my GPS in new vehicle and needed new Plate. The ones that
were supplied each had adesive attached but were definately
old as the adesive was not sticky and would not even stick
to glass never mind the dashboard. The original in the old
vehicle was stuck so hard that it took a razor knife to get
it off the dashboard.
