I found the belt clip hung down too low when clipped to my belt loop. I use my GPS while horseback riding, and found the beltclip too short to read my GPS when I clipped it to a D-ring on my saddle. I DO like that the GPS seems very secure when it's in the holder, and that you actually have to push the release button to free the GPS.

Used the standard belt clip with a GPSMap 60CSx for years. At
last broke a piece of the clip while bending over. Must say
the new one is more comfortable and easier to attach.
