The cable was fine and so were the terminators. A few of my
connectors were already compressed and not useable but I
soldered anyway so no big deal. The kicker here was the
poor instructions. Without searching the internet for a
wiring diagram from a chat site and a follow up phone call
to Garmin (with 30 minutes of elevator music on my
speakerphone) I could have never installed this. Remember
always have more than six feet of cable between the
terminators???? (that appears nowhere other than Oh by the
way from the Garmin tech.) Unfortunately my GPSMAP unit was
not NMEA 2000 so I had to use this to install a fuel
sensor. If you are thinking of a new unit from Garmin get
the NMEA 2000 and avoid this adapter. I now have at least
12 extra wiring connections subject to corrosion et al.
