The TOPO US West DVD was very easy to use, easy to install, very detail and easy to install on my GPS.

Excellent detail, although I have not actually hiked yet
with it to see if trails/dirt roads are there. Personally,
I found insufficient instructions to easily transfer the
data to my GPS.

I enjoy using the Garmin Quest for its flexibility, both in
car, and for hiking, biking. The mapset that comes with
the unit is fairly dated (Citymaps, ver 6.?), The Topo
series serves as a great update, and provides excellent
detailed maps as well. It works with the Garmin for in car
navigation, and gives great trip information for biking and
hiking as well. One problem I have seen,is that it does
not really track designated bike trails in our are,
Seattle, It appears to have National Forest/ National Park
trails designated, but the lack of bike trails in urban
areas does not fit my wish list for this map set.
The maps are expensive but GPS City seems to have the best
price. This product is invaluable in keeping the Quest
useful.
