This mapping is of very little value. Tourist
areas on the coast are not covered in any detail
and even the major road is out of date.

First,I have not been able to down load to my
2820,ran all the steps but not sure if the maps
are on the unit. How do I know?
Second, there does not appear to much detail on
this map,so we will be using a paper map.

I bought this specifically for crossing from one side
of Mexico City to the other. The very FIRST turn
instruction it gave was incorrect! It took us almost
an hour with traffic, one way streets and lack
of "retornos" to get back on the right track. I am
furious with it! I knew before the purchase that it
was limited to Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara
and supposedly the major autopistas. Yea,
right.....There are major autopistas that have been
open for more than 4 years that still do not appear on
this map. I want my money back and now.

This is my first Garmin GPS owned... it operated well in North
America. The maps upgrade/installation was not as hard as I
imagined... installed this Mexico map as we do a lot of business down
there. Most of our business is in the remote areas - we found the
maps to be not very helpful. We understand that new roads are being
constructed so it will be difficult to stay on top of the updates.
But we could not find the Mexico City airport as a 'point of
interest'. I am hoping that this will be corrected soon as driving in
Mexico city is a nightmare on the best of days.
