GPS Enthusiast, July 4, 2012 This is a very nice product from Garmin & I've used several
different versions in the past. I did not realize when I
ordered it that it was the 2012 version (already a year
old). I purchased the new 2013 version from Garmin &
returned this item to GPSCity. The refund was handled very
quickly and easily. Will certainly consider GPSCity for
future GPS purchases.
Fernando, June 13, 2012 I do love the feature that will place trip that you plan on
the googles map making easy to email the link to anyone.
Works with my old Garmin 7200
Lost, May 11, 2012 The MapInstall app which is necessary to load this product
onto the GPS SD card was faulty--an unaddressed "glitch"
according to the Helper at Garmin. MapInstall loads the
map, but it is then unrecognized by the GPS Nuvi 1390 unless
it is renamed to: gmappsupp.img
In my experience Garmin has always been tardy in making its
products friendly to a Mac--an unacceptable stance in this
day and age. Buy the CN North American on an SD card and
save yourself some headaches.
Don, May 9, 2012 Product seems to perform as planned, even located an
address where my Great great grandfather owned a bar in
1893. Don't know if it's still a bar, but interesting none
