Recent reviews for this item: The Flmpsons, April 23, 2013 Does not hold GPS well - it slides out too easily. I would not trust this to hang by GPS from for fear that it would fall. Since it does not serve its intended purpose, it is utterly useless! Maybe I received a defective one?? Pirround, March 16, 2013 I use this when hiking with a Garmin eTrex 30. I find it very convenient. It is well designed and well built. I put the clip on one of my backpack shoulder straps. The GPS is secure, but still easy to access one handed.
I can leave the button on the GPS and still put the GPS inits case when travelling to and from the trailhead.
