Haven't had a chance to use it, but it's very easy to install
and as easy to remove - as opposed to another review I read.
This should prove to be quite useful as the season approaches.

Fits perfect on my Dakota, and hangs tight. Great buy!

First off: Yes, it is very difficult to use the GPS while
hooked onto something with this. I am not sure I understand
this from a design perspective...I guess their use case for
it is not what I imagined. But it seems well-built, and I
can see some uses for it, depending on what you want to do.
Personally, I have been using the belt clip with the
retractable lanyard. The lanyard keeps it from getting away
from me while holding on to a large rock for dear life (or
whatever :D), and I love the retractability. The belt clip
keeps it from dangling while also keeping it handy (love the
quick release).

The strap may be a little short but that may be to keep the
GPSr from flopping around too much. It is nice and heavy duty.
