smaller, and more accurate with WAAS technology. I'm new to
geocaching. When this unit says I'm at a cache, so far I
have been within 1-1.5 m from it. Downloads of cache data
from Geocaching.com is simple and practically instantaneous.
Battery life is great with alkaline, have yet to try NiMh.
Overall, great unit. Haven't set up chirp yet John in San Diego, December 22, 2012 Does everything I wanted of it. Good for logging trails, and
lots of integration with Google Earth and Geocaching.
Touchscreen display is preferable to buttons on the side,
IMHO. NiMH battery life is a lot shorter than advertised.
Any LCD screen is hard to see in full sunlight.
