Screen to small for in a big truck. My old 7200 had bigger
screen and an mp3 player for the long hauls.

I am truck driver. I bought this gps because is commercial, dedicated for trucking industries. I made a big mistake: the
soft-routing do not give my the shortest way to get to my
client (I were in erie,pa going to toronto, the gps sent
me to sarnia, on instead of fort erie,on). when you take a state road the gps shows you a question
mark asking you to pay attention to the signs for truck, or I
paid more money for my gps to have this information from
him. same for the bridges. I have an old garmin 2008 and I
bought the new one because, sometimes, when the hwy is
closed, I have to take a detour. the old gps put my on no
truck road or weight limit bridges

Dezl 560 is one of few Garmin units I own.I bought this one
because it suppose to be for trucks.Well I was very
disappointed already in my 1st trip. Two major border
crossings(Buffalo and Queenston-Lewiston)and this unit will
not even consider going trough them ,supposedly no trucks
are allowed there (few hundred meters before border)I don't
think Garmin is ready for commercial drivers yet.Apart from
this it's a great unit with very nice display, loud speaker
,traffic alert and lane assist.
