Sometimes it works and other times it will not go where I
want, or goes up but not sideways. No other way around not

works as a GPS locater as well as all others, all
makes included.
You just have to decide how many "Bells
&Whistles" you want and how many escalating
dollars you are willing to spend to get them!
I bought my first GPS hand held in 1997. The
Garmin Etrex Legend is my second.
My first is now a dinosaur. The Legend is ready
to go in 15 seconds - not only will "work" in
heavy tree cover - I can put it in my pocket of a
heavy winter coat and walk or cycle around! It
will even be "Ready To Navigate" in my house!
There are many(34?)data field options that one
can use to customize the 4 pages depending on your
current application. Nuff said - anything more and
Garmin is going to have to pay me :>). I'm new to

me directly to my intended destination. Going to download some
topo maps soon which will enhance its ability.
