| Thank, but no thanks on this unit, and seriously looking at alternate brands. This unit is very good, but It has been wiped out one to many time. Geocaching in the forest, You have marked your car, so you can return, you are out there some 500 Yards from the car, in a forest at night. eXplorist decides to burn in, Wipe itself out. Did I do the wrong key combination, I don't know. All I know now is the complete system has re-booted and I have no way points, NOT EVEN MY CAR. Only saving grace on this, is Electronic compass. Without that I was truly lost. Go out but had to call it a noght. this is the fifth time this happens. I am sick and tired. time for a better product. | |
