| I had a Polar HRM whose batteries went dead. It was a basic model but usable. Looking around, I came across the Garmin 50. Specs were good with interval timers, chrono, HRM and distance using a foot pod. No GPS which suits me perfectly as some races I do prohibit GPS. So I got one. Great!!! Ultra-intuitive to setup and use. The capper is that the download of data to my PC "just happens". So much better than starting an app and doing some kind of connection. HRM reads very well. Recommended. | |
