Recent reviews for this item: Jason, November 26, 2012 My parents have 2 cars and 1 car is tinted and the other is
not. On the tinted car (it depends a lot on level of tint)
the signal is really weak and sometimes there is no signal
at all. So once I got this external antenna, I connect it
and it connects really fast and the signal is always at the
maximum.
I actually didnt attach the antenna outside the car but
just left it at the dashboard and it does the trick too.
Mangnet on the back of the antenna is really strong and if
you attach it outside your car, it wont be any problem.
Just let the wire connect to the side of the door and you
are good.
Mine came with a long cable so I didnt have any problems

to my Streetpilot caused by interference from a new touch

length cable with mini connector and BNC male/female
connection to antenna. Short cable remains in GPS unit
