does not come with an adapter to allow use in USA.
One charger unit would then be usable in Europe and USA.
I find it astonishing that no one at Garmin thought of
this. If it were even possible to buy the US plug as an
extra that would be a big improvement but got no
satisfaction during call to Tech support.
