Excellent product & works great. OEM battery and comes with international plugs for the Charger, Having an extra battery is great for indoor programing routes and not running out of power plus I don't have to use GPS unit to charger up the batteries.

I bought this because the original battery was intermittant and waiting for a new warranty one. It came in two days and is a great backup and also an easy way to charge the battery when using the unit indoors while programming routes.

What a pleasant surprise. this is not only a battery charger but it also serves as a wall charger for the GPS unit. It sure helps having power for trip planning without depleting the battery. If you're travelling without a vehicle you can still keep your unit charged. Having the extra battery also gives me peace of mind that I'll never run out of power when I'm away from base camp. The versatile plugs ensure coverage throughout most of the world. Some of the other charger units I looked at didn't include a plug for Australia. In my mind this is a must have for the 500 series. Good value for the money.
