I had the GTM 20 and when the subscription ran out
I decided to try the MSN receiver. Overall, the
unit works as advertised. Much faster reception
of traffic incidences and more coverage on
secondary roads than GTM. However, they seems
leave accidents on the system well past their due
date.
Since data in stored the GPS (not lost after
disocnnecting from receiver), I can take it with
me and read the news or find movies.
News, weather, stocks and movies are nice
features. Hopefully, they will include gas and
events in Canada will be part of the system.

This device is OK in general. But, it does not
work properly in Toronto. I am not sure even it
is working OK for traffic, as I noticed,
sometimes there are traffic jam but, it does not
show and I have to drive straight into traffic.
Although, MSN direct website shows “traffic
speeds” feature works in Toronto, yet, I could
not get it working. Called MSN direct tech
support several times, they do not seem to appear
as what to do or how to trouble shoot. It might
be OK in the near future. But, not great at this
time. I would like to appreciate about the great
service of GPSCity, they were very quick to
deliver the product, their service was great and
the price of this device was also good.

I bought it for my Garmin Nuvi 760 and so far it works
good and I live in the north GTA area. For MSN
directory, weather and traffic is my most interest and
they seem to work well so far. However, other
directories (like News, Stock) are probably US-specific
or the content is not provided at all in GTA. No
information is supplied unfortunately. Sometimes, it
takes quite a long time (more than 5 to 10 minutes) to
start showing up the weather info, and I just don't
know what it is doing.
My Nuvi needs something to fix with regards to Celsius
degree display. There's no displaying at all when I
choose Routes for instance. For sure it shows within
'show map' screen, but I'm not sure how it is when I
enter a certain destination and drive. Also, I have not
yet warned about heavy traffic while I'm driving, I
cannot tell if MSN Traffic works good here. Hopefully
in a year I can see if this product is worth really.
