Water plays a great part in our day to day life - we live on
a boat. Just getting to dry land in a dinghy usually
involves getting wet or the risk of it. Here in Malaysia the
monsoon rain drenches everything. So, we like this camera
most of all because it's in a watertight housing. Not sure I
could live without our DSLR and small hand held video, though!
The biggest drawback is the inability to review a shot taken
- there's no screen. Make sure you take plenty and you can
with the multiple shot mode. Talking of modes the
instructions are totally intimidating! It takes a while to
get your head around the settings menu, but persevere.
We wanted to be able to take video of dolphins from the bows
of our boat whilst under way so we invested in the ram mount
adapter to mount the camera securely. As it was a present
for my old man who hates cameras around his neck, we also
bought the wrist housing. This has been a real success as he
wears the thing all the time and is capturing stuff we'd
never have otherwise! The wide angle effect was a surprise I
can't believe how much it fits in and the quaality is good -
better than I thought it would be. quite good for both
interior and exterior shots. We're pleased with our purchase
and would recommend

I still can not believe how small this camera is and how
AWESOME of a job it does.
I purchased this with intention to film once or twice, but
once I filmed with it I did not want to stop! Its small,
Lightweight, Easy to use. MANY options in the camera (ie:
Film Upside down, lighting, time and date)
I would recommend this to anyone that wants to capture
anything on film! Its does not have to be extreme
sports.... I cant wait till its hot enough out to capture
the kids in the swimming pool!
Go out and buy this! Trust me, you will NEVER regret this.
P.s. Save up for the LCD Screen, it will take away some of
the guessing of trying to figure what your actually filming
but other than that 10 out of 10!

I have a GoPro SD cam and recently purchased the HD naked
version and what an improvement! The video quality is top-
notch and other little improvements like the rechargeable
battery (and longer battery life) plus better overall sound
quality (than the SD version) make this a no brainer for a
track day video camera.
It's great being able to buy the HD version without all the
mounting hardware. I've already got a the SD Motorsports
version and a few RAM mounts so it was nice being able to
buy a bare-bones version at a cheaper price.
