I bought this even though the digital ("HD") traffic signal isn't available here in Canada but I figured it'd be future-proof, and useful on trips to the US. So, so far I only got the chance to try the the old signal, which works well. It doesn't tell you about "normal", everyday traffic jams and slowdowns, but does tell you about major ones due to accidents, or roads and bridges closed for construction etc.
I'll probably post a new review once I've tried it on HD signal but so far so good.

I am satisfied with the product, and I make another order
soon for the purchase of Garmin ecoRoute HD.
Note: I'd love to shop at GPS City in my language.
Canada is a bilingual country, French and English. Would be
very well accepted for future
thank you

After months the receiver now seems to work as designed. I
believe the issue was the Navteq coverage or the system
from where they were getting their alerts from. They seem
to be more frequent and accurate than before. It is not
great and I do not think this Digital 3d receiver is work
the cost over the 3D that comes with the unit (my
2595LMT). I have both receivers hooked up in my car and
can switch the input. I have not run two GPS units side by
side but I just find much difference when I switch back and
forth. One thing I do not know is if the Digital provides
broader coverage, for example secondary roads. So, buy
again? I guess so because I can’t say it doesn’t give
perform better than the standard 3D and based on the Garmin
ads it must. At $70 if it saves me minutes here and there
over the 3D well, that probably is worth it. At least I
can now give it a positive rating. By the way the 2595LMT
is really a great GPS. Quite a step up over my 2460LT.
