I am so impressed with gpscity.ca I have never ordered from
them before and couldn't get this phototrackr in my city,
so I had to order it online. It was very simple to complete
my order, which was great. Then I got a message that the
item was backordered and I started to panic that it
wouldn't arrive for Christmas. I contacted the company and
they got back to me immediately and reassured me that it
wouldn't take too long to have the item. They continued to
keep me in the loop over the next couple of days and then
informed me that the item was shipped and sent me the
tracking number. I was so impressed! Within a few days, I
had the item, with plent of time to spare before Christmas.
My husband was so happy to recewive it and we will be using
it soon. I will definitely order from gpscity again. :o)

I have no idea if it works. The unit I received was
defective, and had to be sent to the manufacturer--for over
1/4 of the unit's value in postage.
The problem seems to be with the serial to USB adapter chip
in the unit. You might as well get the plain RS-232 one and
a known-good USB to serial.
