Recent reviews for this item: Grady H, September 18, 2007 I love this unit over my previous Garmin Etrex Legend. The larger screen is great, and I have the map software as well. In response to Chris from AB review, he just needs to turn up the level of detail in his setup to high. I see the roads at zoom levels several miles out. Now if you get on a very large scale they will disappear and you will only see major roads, etc. Chris, February 24, 2007 I found it an o.k unit. One of the things i dont like about it is that when driving on lease or(secondary)roads and u zoom out, the road disappears. u can only see the road only a few hundred feet ahead.... when you zoom out to get a bigger picture of the road...the road disappears...go figure. even with the map cd....also i find it hard without color to distinguish the difference between rivers(not so much, creeks,roads and altitude lines.
