Recent reviews for this item: Shelley, June 1, 2012 Trial and error seems to be the only way to use this
device. We have never had one before and trying to figure
it out has been an adventure on its own. It is very
sensitive as it reads our downrigging equipment as well as
my small weight on the other line - still not sure how to
prevent this. In the middle of the lake and it was reading
we were in 2 ft of water???? Good laugh now. Lowrance
definitely could have thrown in a case for this fishfinder
as we take ours out of the boat routinely.Nothing to
compare to but we are enjoying the features that we have
discovered.
