found some helpful ideas. the intem itself works great and
fit my GPS port. All the manufacturer needs to do is
simply identify for the consumer that the yellow wire is
the gps "send" wire to be connected to (in my case) the red
wire form my cobra vhf nmea cable. and the black wire of
the Lowrance nmea cable connects to the black wire of the
cobra vhf nmea cable. The red wire of the Lowrance nmea
cable is not used! My vhf nmea cable only had 2 wires, a
red and a black so without any instructions I connedted the
Lowrance nmea red and black wires to thaem and it didn't
work. It would sure help to know that the dyellow wire of
the dfLowrance cable is the "send" wire. Otherwise, a
