quick to get to from the main screen and, main screen is
very easily customized. I would easily be comfortable to
recommend this to anybody!!!!! John, April 18, 2012 I love the flexibility of this GPS. It goes from foot
navigation to Geocaching to automobile routing seamlessly.
It holds an accurate fix even in the woods with lots if
overhead cover, and in the car. I moved to the Montana from
a Magellan Meridian Platinum. A good unit, but definitely
dated compared to the Montana.
The menus take some getting use to, but after a bit of
playing round it's not so bad. On the negative side, I find
downloading info to the micro SD card to be difficult. It
works, but I found that it's not very intuitive. One of the
problems is the lack of instructions, even the user manual
that I downloaded was not very helpful.
About Topo Canada, I wish we it had 24K coverage, but good
nonetheless.
Once you get use to the Montana it is a very good piece of kit. Frustrated Customer, February 8, 2012 The user guidance for this product is essentially
non-existent which I find unacceptable for a product at this

Oregon 300 which was good but not bright enough screen. The
Topo Canada DVD installation to GPS in great. The data
could be updated as Ver. 4 is a little out of date.
