These work well: they apply fairly easily, and they don't seem to affect the operation of the touch-screen (although I applied my protector the 2nd day I had the Montana so I'm not positive about that). The only negative I see is that clarity is reduced a bit with the protector on.

I was fairly apprehensive when I first went to apply Garmin's screen protector to my new GPSr. I've seen many times where others have done this on various electronics that resulted in a fail.
The first trick I found was getting every minute piece of foreign object off the screen. I went through various different cloths and finally settled on a cloth baby diaper and a blast of compressed air. Next was getting the protector lined up while trying to peel back the adhesive film. I found that laying the whole thing down on the screen with the film still on, holding one side firmly, peeling the film back toward the middle on the other side to stick it down, then finally letting go the the side I was holding to finish applying. It went down flawlessly the first time.
Less than sunlight you can't even tell it's on. In bright sunlight it does change the way the screen glares, but not for the worse. Touch sensitive was not affected at all.

I purchased this as well with my order and find it to be a
nice addition to protect my investment.
It's a wee bit dark, but I haven't noticed and adverse
affects form it (day or night).
